Now, these are some titles I have in my library concerning the genus Carabus. As you know, most of these works are very expensive and sometimes really hard to find, and that is the only negative I can say about it.
I consider these to be a coleopterists bible :D
1. Carabologia, Sommaire 1 - 4, 164 p., 1974 Describes new subspecies and natios with a lot of pics ( b/w )
2. The Genus Carabus in Europe, A synthesis, Turin, Peney & Casale, Pensoft, 2003, 511 p.
3. Les Carabes de France, Forel & Leplat, 316 p., 677 enlarged specimens in colour, distribution maps, etc..this is a fantastic book !
